Jetva.co.uk Membership Terms and Conditions

Jetva.co.uk is a non-commercial virtual airline for private and recreational use only. We are not affiliated with any real-world airline.

1. Membership

1.1 Jetva.co.uk may accept or refuse membership applications at its discretion where reasonably required to protect the platform or community.

1.2 Membership may be suspended or terminated where a user breaches these terms or where it is necessary to maintain platform integrity, safety, or fairness.

1.3 You must provide a valid VATSIM or IVAO ID when registering. We may carry out checks where required to validate activity.

1.4 Transfer hours from another virtual airline may be added at initial application only and will not count towards rank or status.

1.5 Members may fly online or offline; online flying on VATSIM or IVAO is encouraged.

1.6 You may terminate your membership at any time by email request. Your account will be closed and access removed.

1.7 Personal account data will be removed on request in line with our Privacy Policy. Flight records may be retained in an anonymised form for statistical and system integrity purposes.

1.8 Staff members who step down or are removed will have administrative access revoked. Flying records and status will remain unaffected.

1.9 You must be aged 13 or over to join. Accounts found to be below this age may be removed.

1.10 Accounts using invalid or non-functioning email addresses may be refused or closed.

2. Flight Policy

2.1 Your first PIREP must be filed within 7 days of joining, or your account may be marked inactive.

2.2 Only flights completed using Jetva schedules, aircraft, and callsigns should be logged.

2.3 Logged flights must use the correct callsign format consistent with bookings and network usage.

2.4 Approved callsigns are "EASY" and "TOP SWISS" followed by the scheduled flight number.

2.5 PIREPs may be automatically processed but are subject to review. Incorrect or invalid submissions may be rejected.

2.6 Flights must be actively flown. Extended unattended flights (e.g. overnight) are not permitted. Hours gained in this way may be removed.

3. Communications

3.1 We may use your registered email address to send service-related communications relating to your account or activity.

3.2 We do not use member email addresses for marketing or third-party promotions.

3.3 You are responsible for maintaining a valid and working email address. Accounts with invalid or bouncing email addresses may be closed.

3.4 Platform communications (including internal messaging, forums, or chat systems) may be reviewed where necessary for moderation, abuse prevention, or system administration. These should not be treated as private or confidential.

4. Code of Conduct

4.1 Members must behave respectfully towards all other users.

4.2 The following are not permitted:

• Abusive, threatening, or insulting behaviour
• Harassment or discrimination
• Obscene, vulgar, or inappropriate content
• Spam or unauthorised advertising
• Impersonation or misrepresentation

4.3 Breaches may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership.

5. Disciplinary Process

5.1 Where misconduct is identified, action may be taken including warnings, temporary suspension, or account termination.

5.2 A standard process may include:

• Formal warning
• Temporary suspension
• Account termination for repeated or serious breaches

5.3 Serious misconduct may result in immediate termination without prior warning.

5.4 Members may submit an appeal via email. Decisions will be reviewed and a final outcome issued.

5.5 Moderation records may be retained where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms and protect the platform.

6. Forum and Content Rules

6.1 Forum signatures and images must remain within reasonable size limits to maintain readability.

6.2 Content that breaches these terms may be edited or removed without notice.

6.3 Copyrighted material must not be posted without permission.

6.4 Advertising other virtual airlines or services without permission is not allowed.

7. External Content

7.1 Members may encounter external links or user-posted content. Jetva.co.uk is not responsible for third-party content or transactions.

8. Changes to Terms

8.1 These terms may be updated from time to time. Users will be notified where appropriate.

8.2 Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the current version.

9. Liability

9.1 This website is provided free of charge. While we aim to maintain availability and accuracy, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jetva.co.uk is not liable for any loss arising from use of the platform.

9.3 Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
