Hi all,

Jet Track v2.69 is now available for download.

This is our new modern JetVA flight tracking client for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Jet Track is designed to replace the older workflow for modern simulators and gives us much better flight evidence, live tracking, flight phase detection, PIREP support and post-flight analysis.

Important tracker guidance

Jet Track should be used for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.

Jet Track does not require FSUIPC.

BlueSky remains available for older simulator setups, but BlueSky requires FSUIPC and is now mainly intended for legacy simulator use.

What Jet Track does

Jet Track records your flight from start to finish and sends live tracking data to JetVA while you fly. It captures the main flight phases including pushback, taxi, takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, approach, landing, taxi-in and shutdown.

After landing, you can review and submit your PIREP directly through Jet Track. Once accepted, your flight will appear in your JetVA logbook and contribute to your stats, awards and activity record.

Basic flying workflow

  1. Log in to the JetVA website.
  2. Go to the schedules page.
  3. Find a flight you want to operate.
  4. Book the flight.
  5. Use the SimBrief option from the schedule/booking process if you want to generate an OFP.
  6. Open Jet Track.
  7. Log in and refresh your booked flights.
  8. Select the booked flight.
  9. Confirm your route and flight level.
  10. Start tracking before pushback or taxi.
  11. Fly the route as normal.
  12. After landing, park at stand and shut the aircraft down.
  13. Finish the flight, review the PIREP and submit it.

If you use SimBrief, the routing information generated from your booked schedule can be used by Jet Track, so make sure you book the flight first and generate the SimBrief plan from the correct schedule.

v2.69 beta notes

This release includes additional speed evidence around engine start and engine shutdown. This supports server-side review of single-engine taxi behaviour and future Fuel Saver award evidence.

The submit verification and clear-after-file workflow from v2.68 is retained. The active aircraft follow map centre fix is also retained.

As before, Jet Track does not contain client-side scoring logic. Scoring and analyser review remain server-side.

Before your first flight

Please read the Jet Track Pilot Manual before using the program for the first time:

https://www.jetva.co.uk/downloads/Jet_Track_Pilot_Manual_2026.pdf

The manual covers installation, logging in, booking flights, SimBrief use, starting tracking, filing PIREPs, common mistakes and troubleshooting.

Need help?

If you get stuck, please ask on the forum or Discord. We are a friendly bunch and are always happy to welcome new members and help pilots get started.

Please report any issues clearly, including what simulator you are using, what aircraft you were flying, what stage of the flight you were at, and any error message shown by Jet Track.

Thanks everyone, and enjoy the new system.
Mark.

Many Thanks,

Mark.
