Hi all,

I’ve got some development time coming up and want to use it where it actually matters - improving the VA based on how you’re using it day to day.

Rather than guessing or building in isolation, I want direct input from you.

If there’s anything that’s frustrating, missing, clunky, or could just be better - now’s the time to call it out.

Areas you might want to think about (but not limited to):

  • Website usability and layout

  • Flight booking / schedules

  • Pilot stats, rankings, or progression

  • Events, tours, or challenges

  • Forum and community features

  • Anything that feels outdated or unnecessary

Equally, if there’s something you like and don’t want changed, say that too.

Be specific where possible — “this is slow” is useful, but “this page takes too long to load because of X” is actionable.

No guarantees everything gets built, but this will directly influence what gets prioritised.

Post your suggestions below.

Thanks,
Mark

Many Thanks,

Mark.

Hi Mark

I have an idea for landing evaluation, although I don't know if it's possible. I want to separate the landing quality based on weather conditions (such an option is available in Newsky, for example). When conditions are difficult, the landing evaluation is correspondingly less severe, so to speak. It's one thing to charge in good conditions, and another in strong crosswinds and gusts. It's a significant challenge, and I think that touching down with 1.50g in such conditions is a perfectly good and safe landing. Tell me what you think about this idea Mark?

This is possible; we have a system where we can evaluate the metar, runway direction and wind speed. This is a fairly simple addition to deploy based on the available logging data already present and available to us.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Many Thanks,

Mark.

Hey Mark! How about somehow introducing (if possible) bonus points for fuel efficency such as single engine taxi not burning as much fuel or efficient cruise management etc? Also perhaps introducing a turnaround function in which you could pre-select your departures/arrivals and aim to have a quick turnaround before each leg?

This is possible, but we would need to rehook the scoring profile system to add points to the score based on events in the event analyser. It will take some more thought, but it is possible.
