What a fantastic freeware product we've been given with the FBW A380X. If I flew long haul I'd happily pay for this beauty. Yesterday I got some stutters towards the end of a 3 hour flight but after today's FBW update they have gone. Don't abandon JetVa but push your knowledge of Airbus technology by trying this amazing aircraft. 

Is it a relatively easy transition from A320s?

The fundamentals are the same in terms of powering up, the EFB etc.  The biggest change is in the MCDU which is operated with your mouse and relies on a lot of drop down menu items.  It's worth looking a a YT video or two to watch how this works before trying it yourself.  BTW - there are a LOT of fuel pumps to turn on!  There's a bit of set up recquired in your Control Settings too.  You need to bind Engines 1 and 2 to the left throittle and 3 and 4 to the right throttle plus the same with the engine switches.

Try it out.  What's the worst that can happen?  You lose a couple of hours of your time.  I love broadening my experience of a different airframe without having to go all ''Boeing'!
