If you fly the Fenix Airbus family then you really should update the product ASAP. The difference, especially in hand flying and landing is amazing. Ground handling is also improved. You can safely perform a few tasks on the flight deck and still be on the taxi line when you look back! Also, weather radar is now available although I couldn't test it as the weather was too good down in Italy. Let us all know how you find the update.

Wow, is all i can say. I have not done a full flight, but a quick circuit, the sound is different also, and the engines are louder, more to the real world, the aircraft is much more stable on take off, and the reverse thrust is more accurate.
There are some colour changes in the panels, the PFDs, and ECAM displays. Impressed so far.
I couldn't find weather either to test the radar, something to look forward to tomorrow
Many Thanks,
Mark.

Some pilots are saying that the can't get the weather radar to work. Here's a short video which explains how to set it up

Love the update but not a fan of the new engine sounds, the high pitched whistling sound on final approch is not accurate to the real aircraft and the reverse thrust sound cut out to abruptly, the previous version in my opinion were better, everything else though is really amazing.

Completed a longer flight this afternoon LIRN/EGKK and the Fenix performed flawlessly. Some significant weather over northern Italy and The Alps and the weather radar showed it all up. I guess sounds are subjective. I like the new sounds and I can't say that I heard the whistling on finals but I was wearing a headset. Landing is so much improved but, reading other posts, autoland is now worse. I haven't tested this myself. It's a great update for free. Can't wait for their NEO now.

I tried and can't seem to get the weather radar working, it's on system one, and I have tried changing the settings, but nothing.
Many Thanks,
Mark.

There's no up or down tilt at present. You can only see what's directly in front at your FL. Worth a check. Play with the Gain too. The video above is filmed on the ground so just sit somewhere and set some crap weather to see what happens.

This is from Fenix: If you have no returns at all, it is possible you have "USE ALTERNATIVE DISPLAY RENDERER" checked in the Fenixsim A320 App. This rendering mode is not compatible with the MSFS WXR layer. You should uncheck this option to utilise the Weather Radar. You may also experience incorrect radar returns if the MSFS Graphics Option "Glass Cockpit Refresh Rate" is set to anything other than "HIGH".

This is getting annoying now. high refresh rate is enabled, alt displays have been removed, and still nothing.....
Ok I found this, No terrain/weather overlay support — only one radar layer at a time. Weather Radar only detects precipitation, not turbulence or cloud density. Returns may disappear at high sim rates or paused states.
This could be why, next job, find some rain clouds.
Many Thanks,
Mark.
