I’ve been exploring some new ATC programs recently. I used to run Beyond ATC, but lately it’s become unstable for me—lots of crashes and times where it just stops responding. After trying a few alternatives, I finally gave FSHud a go.

Honestly, I’m really impressed! It integrates perfectly with my third-party traffic injector and takes full control of the traffic. If I inject it, FSHud manages it. That alone makes it feel like a big step up compared to what I was using before.

What I really like is the flexibility. You can let the co-pilot handle radio comms and frequency changes, or you can assign a PTT key and do it yourself—completely up to you.

Another great feature: it imports directly from SimBrief, so no extra setup or messing around. Just load in your flight plan and you’re ready to go.

I figured I’d share my experience in case anyone’s looking for a fully managed ATC solution. So far, FSHud has been a very positive surprise.

What ATC programs are you all using? I’d love to hear your thoughts and comparisons.

Many Thanks,

Mark.

This is just my own opinon......

Used BATC not too bad but gives clearance to other aircraft to taxi when you're in the way.

Always wants to give you vectors to RWY. Change RWY ,no chance.Do like to see other traffic though.

Sometimes just use FSLTL traffic.

Sayintentions...use freebie but not too impressed, too damn expensive for the Premier.

Alternative to above...

Tried Poscon ages ago..

too complicated and fussy (or it used to be for my tiny brain) and not much in UK at the time i tried it
